About Tampa Bay Bernedoodles 

Several years ago my wife and I were looking for the a dog breed which would fit with our family, and came across Bernedoodles. Very quickly we fell in love with the breed, and now have two amazing females as members of our family. However, when looking for a breeder for miniatures, we were discouraged by only a few breeder offering them, and not being able to find one near Florida.  This lead us to want to help others find the perfect addition to their family without having to go as far north as we did. We are a small family breeder specializing in micro miniature F1b's, with only having one to two litters per year. Our puppies are members of our family and live with us in our house.

​About Bernedoodles the Breed

Bernedoodles have several desirable qualities that comes from the cross breeding of the Bernesse Mountain Dog and the Poodle. First is their coats can be hypoallergenic, particularly in the F1b puppies. Additionally cross breeding also creates healthier and non drooling dogs. Both parent breeds are very intelligent and family oriented dogs, leading to a very loyal dog which is wonderful with families. With the Bernes Mountain Dog being of moderate energy, Bernedoodles tend to be last energetic then other doodles, yet still very playful. They come in several colors and sizes, with the tri-color being the most desirable coloring and micro mini being the more desirable size.  Mini Bernedoodles are between 25 and 40 pounds, with micro mini being 24 pounds or lighter.

F1 Bernedoodles are the puppies of a pure breed female Bernesse Mountain Dog with a pure breed male Poodle. In the case of Bailey, our F1 Micro Mini Bernedoodle, her father was a Miniature Poodle.
